damFor years, fans around the world have known Karolina Protsenko as the talented violin prodigy whose street performances and YouTube videos captured millions of hearts. From breathtaking covers to inspiring collaborations, the young musician built a massive global following through her remarkable violin skills. Now, she is entering an exciting new phase of her career under a new artistic identity: Karolina Rose.
The Ukrainian-born musician, who moved to California with her family at a young age, became an internet sensation thanks to her performances at Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade and her hugely successful YouTube channel. Over the years, she appeared on television programs and collaborated with numerous artists while continuing to grow as a performer.
In July 2025, Karolina announced that she would release her original music under the stage name Karolina Rose. Interestingly, “Rose” is her middle name, making the new identity both personal and meaningful. She described the change as stepping into her “pop girl era” and embracing her dream of becoming a singer-songwriter.
The transition represents much more than a name change. It marks her evolution from a viral violin sensation into a young artist focused on creating original songs and sharing her personal stories through music. In August 2025, she introduced fans to her debut single, “Advice,” beginning a new journey that she openly shared with supporters across social media.
Since then, Karolina Rose has continued to release new material. Songs including “Good Girl,” “Shiny Webs,” “His Crime,” “Upside,” “Sixteen,” and “Make You Stay” showcase her development as a songwriter and vocalist. Her growing catalog reflects a more mature and personal artistic direction while still retaining the passion that first made her famous.
Despite embracing a new identity, Karolina has not abandoned her roots. Fans still admire her incredible violin performances, and many appreciate seeing her combine instrumental talent with original pop music. This balance has allowed her to maintain the loyal audience she built over the years while attracting new listeners.
At just a young age, Karolina Rose is proving that reinvention and growth are essential parts of an artist’s journey. As she continues to write, sing, and create, her supporters are eagerly watching to see where this exciting chapter will lead.
One thing is certain: the world first fell in love with Karolina Protsenko the violin prodigy, and now many are discovering Karolina Rose, the promising singer-songwriter poised for an even brighter future.
