Fallon Sherrock Is Heading Back to Alexandra Palace — And Her Story Is Far From Over

Fallon Sherrock is heading back to Alexandra Palace, and darts fans have another reason to celebrate one of the sport’s most memorable trailblazers. Known affectionately as the “Queen of the Palace,” Sherrock has secured her place at the 2027 PDC World Darts Championship, setting the stage for another opportunity to shine on one of darts’ biggest stages.

For Sherrock, this achievement represents more than another tournament appearance. It is another chapter in a career that has helped change perceptions of women’s darts and inspired supporters who have followed her remarkable journey.

A Historic Journey That Changed Darts Forever

Sherrock became a household name in December 2019 when she defeated Ted Evetts at the PDC World Darts Championship. That victory made her the first woman to win a match at the tournament, creating a historic moment that attracted attention far beyond the darts community.

She followed that breakthrough with another memorable victory over Mensur Suljović, proving that her success was about more than one surprising result. Her performances opened the door to important conversations about opportunity, representation and the growing popularity of women’s darts.

Although repeating those historic achievements has not been easy, Sherrock has continued competing and working toward new opportunities.

Another Opportunity at Alexandra Palace

Sherrock’s qualification for the 2027 championship confirms that she will return to the venue where her career reached a defining moment. According to the latest Women’s Series results, she secured her qualification by finishing inside the top five of the rankings.

The road has not been without challenges. The 2026 Women’s Series has featured fierce competition, with rising star Beau Greaves continuing to dominate several events. Sherrock reached the semifinals of Event 21 in Wigan before Greaves ended her run.

Nevertheless, qualification provides Sherrock with another opportunity to demonstrate her experience, determination and competitive spirit.

Can Sherrock Create Another Unforgettable Moment?

That is the question many supporters will be asking as anticipation builds for the championship. Returning to a venue associated with her greatest achievement naturally brings expectations, but every tournament offers a fresh challenge.

Sherrock will face strong opposition, and success is never guaranteed. However, her experience on the big stage gives her a compelling story heading into the competition.

Her influence also extends beyond individual results. By continuing to compete at the highest level, she remains an important figure in the development and visibility of women’s darts.

The Story Continues

Fallon Sherrock’s latest qualification is a reminder that sporting legacies are built over time. Her historic victories brought worldwide attention, but her continued presence in the game demonstrates her determination to keep competing.

As Alexandra Palace prepares to welcome another World Championship, fans will be watching to see what happens next.
