EPIC REUNION: Former Brighton manager planning for January raid to Hijack own made Mitoma to recent club.

London-born Josh Duffus, a product of Brighton’s youth academy, joined the club in 2017 at the age of 12.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut last season under Roberto De Zerbi in the Europa League against AEK Athens and was named on the bench in the Premier League. However, under new manager Fabian Hurzeler, Duffus has yet to feature this season.

### Marseille and others monitoring Duffus
With Duffus’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, *HITC* reports that Brighton have yet to agree on new terms with the forward, sparking interest from several clubs.

Marseille is reportedly among the teams closely tracking Duffus, with interest also coming from Club Brugge, Valencia, and RB Leipzig. The German side witnessed his abilities firsthand last month when he scored against them in Brighton’s Premier League International Cup victory.

### Premier League interest resurfaces
Duffus has been in exceptional form for Brighton’s youth side this season, already netting 10 goals.

Having signed his first professional contract with Brighton in 2022, turning down interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham at the time, Duffus is once again attracting attention from Premier League clubs as he enters the final six months of his deal at the AMEX Stadium.
