JUST IN: Champions League Giants set to lock Horns with PL team in Brutal transfer chase to SIGN Tottenham world cup winner who is set looking for a new green Pasture as Spurs name pricetag.

Tottenham Hotspur center-back Cristian Romero was the subject of intense transfer speculation in September, with reports linking him to Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Manchester United during the summer window.

According to *TBR Football*, Spurs are planning to meet with Romero in the coming months to discuss a new contract, a move prompted by the growing interest in the Argentine defender.

While Romero is reportedly content at Tottenham, he has expressed concerns over the club’s lack of UEFA Champions League football—a sentiment he’s raised multiple times over the past six months. This could make retaining him a challenge, especially with interest from clubs like Real Madrid and PSG, which consistently compete in Europe’s top competition.

On Friday, *Football Insider* revealed that Tottenham will likely demand a “huge” offer for Romero during any negotiations. However, these demands could be tempered if the player chooses not to extend his current contract, which is set to expire in 2027.

The report also emphasized Tottenham’s determination to hold on to the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner despite the external interest. While no official valuation has been set by Spurs, *Transfermarkt* currently estimates Romero’s market value at €65 million.
