“One of the best already in Europe” Pundit reveal N’Forest already have own made World Class who is now center of attention for European Giants after several interest shown.
For months, it has been widely known that some of Europe’s top clubs have been monitoring Nottingham Forest’s star defender, Murillo.
During the summer, numerous elite teams expressed interest, but Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis held firm, valuing the player at £70 million.
Murillo has become a key player for Forest, and if he remains at the City Ground for the rest of the 2024/25 season, his value could increase even further.
Forest originally signed the defender for just £10.6 million after Manchester City passed on the opportunity to buy him from Corinthians.
Real Madrid interested in Forest’s Murillo
It has now been reported that Real Madrid are keen to sign Murillo, with Graeme Bailey confirming the interest earlier this week.
Bailey explained that Real Madrid are looking for central defenders as their current backline ages, having already scouted players like William Saliba and Cristian Romero in England. Murillo, now regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young defenders, has impressed since his arrival in the Premier League.
Forest’s position in selling Murillo
While Nottingham Forest may be a smaller club compared to Real Madrid, their Premier League status and Murillo’s growing reputation give them leverage. If Murillo continues to shine and helps Forest stay in the top flight, the club can demand a substantial fee for the Brazilian defender.
