Leeds United need to improve their form
Leeds entered the season as one of the favorites to claim the Championship title. After narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premier League last year, the Whites were expected to come back stronger in the 2024/25 season with their sights set on the title.
However, despite occasional wins, Daniel Farke’s side has slipped outside the top six and is currently at risk of missing out on a playoff spot—though there is still plenty of time to turn things around.
Their latest match against Burnley ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat. Had Mateo Joseph converted one of his several chances, Leeds could have found themselves in a better position.
If Leeds want to avoid another disappointing playoff run and missing out on promotion again, their form needs to improve soon. Otherwise, it could be a long and challenging season for Farke, his players, and their supporters.
