“What a talent” Manager make unbelievable VOW after seeing what 20yr Old Forest loanee did in just 30 minutes debut revealing Player deserved regular Playing time at City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team had a busy summer, with a flurry of players arriving at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest secured 11 new signings during the transfer window, quickly settling into the new season with strong performances in their first three games.
However, there were also departures, as Forest needed to balance their finances due to Profitability and Sustainability Regulations (PSR) back in June. Along with new arrivals, several younger players were sent out on loan to gain valuable experience and further their development.
Wigan manager praises Nottingham Forest loanee
Over the summer, double-digit departures were sanctioned by Forest, with five players leaving on loan for more regular playing time. Among them was 20-year-old striker Dale Taylor, who joined League One side Wigan Athletic.
Now, four games into the EFL season, Wigan’s manager, Shaun Maloney, has expressed his admiration for Taylor’s early performances. “Dale is a talented footballer, and we believe he’ll be a fantastic addition to our squad,” Maloney told the club’s website. “He’s already gained experience in League One and internationally with Northern Ireland, and I’m excited to work with him. He’s a strong and versatile forward who will bring something different to our attack.”
Dale Taylor off to a promising start at Wigan
While Forest’s depth in the striker position isn’t particularly strong, Taylor has made an encouraging start to life in League One. Despite playing just 30 minutes in his debut match, his manager is clearly impressed with his potential.
With Chris Wood currently Forest’s primary option up front, an injury to the New Zealand international could disrupt Nuno’s plans at the City Ground. If Taylor continues to perform well, there’s a possibility that Forest could recall him during the winter transfer window to strengthen their attacking options.
