TERRIFYING NEWS as Nottingham Forest ACE limp off training ground due to some discomfort… Hopefully this doesn’t affect Nuno’s brilliant run to the start of season.

For the first time in the 2024/25 season, Nottingham Forest will enjoy a two-week break from Premier League action, offering the team a chance to reflect on their progress so far.

Forest have secured a win and two draws, remaining unbeaten and sitting comfortably in the top half of the table.

The major news from the international break is Morgan Gibbs-White’s first call-up to the England senior team. After excelling under Lee Carsley in the under-21 setup, Gibbs-White will now aim to impress on the senior stage.

However, not all Forest players will be participating in international duty as planned. Ibrahim Sangare, a key midfielder for Forest, has withdrawn from the Ivory Coast squad due to a minor injury.

According to Sport-Ivoire, Sangare was assessed by the national team’s medical staff and was deemed unfit to join the squad. Instead, he will remain at the City Ground for treatment, with Forest aiming to have him ready for their next Premier League match against Liverpool.

Sangare has shown significant improvement this season and currently leads the Premier League in tackles with 15 in the first three games. By choosing to stay back and recover rather than risk further injury on international duty, Sangare is making a sensible decision for both his health and the team’s future.

Despite some criticism, Sangare’s performance on the pitch—marked by his ability to break up play and win tackles—demonstrates his value to the team. With the support of manager Nuno Espirito Santo, he is fulfilling his role effectively.

Now, the focus will be on his recovery, with hopes that he can return in time to make an impact against Liverpool at Anfield in a couple of weeks.
