“Losing players like him will be HUGE blow” Clarke’s agent share latest transfer deadline revealing deal will be “over in few days to come”

“Losing players like him will be HUGE blow” Clarke’s agent share latest transfer deadline revealing deal will be “over in few days to come”

According to an interview with Football League World on August 21st, Leeds United’s agent Harte discussed the club’s need for new signings following the high-profile departures of several players. While Harte did not name any specific targets, such as Sunderland’s Jack Clarke, he acknowledged that with Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville, and Georginio Rutter leaving the club, replacements will need to be brought in quickly.

Harte stated that “Losing players like Gray, Summerville, and Rutter is a blow – but I think once Leeds get going, I think they will take some stopping. I think, obviously, over the next few days that they are going to be trying to recruit certain players in positions.”

With just over a week left in the transfer window, Leeds United finds itself in a difficult position, needing to sign at least three players to replace their departing stars. This is far from the situation the club expected after comments made by Paraag Marathe of the 49ers ownership group in May.

Marathe’s last signing for Leeds was Jayden Bogle on July 20th, over a month ago. In the meantime, the high-profile exits of Summerville and Rutter have brought in over £65 million, which the club must now reinvest to strengthen the squad.

While securing a deal for La Liga player Largie Ramazani may be a positive start, Leeds’ lack of action has seen them miss out on other targets like Jonathan Rowe. There is no time for caution as the club rushes to find replacements capable of replicating the production of Summerville and Rutter before the transfer window slams shut.
