SHOCKING REVELATION: “I Don’t fancy them because they won’t make it next season” Keys makes Early Leeds United EPL promotion saying Leeds United will never be the same as it use to be because……
Leeds United’s 2024/25 season has begun with some challenges. They drew 3-3 against newly promoted Portsmouth, lost 3-0 to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup, and most recently played a scoreless draw with West Bromwich Albion on August 17.
Richard Keys, speaking on beIN SPORTS, expressed his concern about Leeds’ performance this season, citing numerous player sales as a factor. When asked if he fancied Leeds’ chances, Keys responded negatively.
The team has seen several key players depart, including Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray, and Glen Kamara. Now, Georginio Rutter is reportedly close to joining Brighton & Hove Albion, further depleting the squad.
With the transfer window closing in less than two weeks and no clear indications of new signings, fans are growing worried about the team’s prospects. Manager Daniel Farke has expressed his desire to strengthen the squad, which seems necessary given their recent performances.
While the early results haven’t inspired confidence in Leeds’ ability to secure promotion back to the Premier League, it’s worth noting that Farke has a track record of success in the Championship. However, if no new players are brought in before the August 30 deadline, Leeds may face the possibility of a third straight season in the second tier.
