OH NO: Sunderland miss OUT 19yr Old talent who already agree a short term Deal to join scottish premiership side….. Regis Le Bris wanted to build the team around this young lad.
Sunderland youngster Oli Bainbridge might make his senior debut at Celtic Park this weekend after securing a season-long loan to Kilmarnock.
Bainbridge, previously monitored by Everton, will begin his senior football career in the Scottish Premiership following an impressive season with Sunderland’s U21 team, which reached the Premier League 2 final.
His performance earned him a call-up to the senior squad for a match against Southampton earlier this year. U21s boss Graeme Murty described the move as a significant opportunity for the 19-year-old. Bainbridge, who signed his first professional contract last summer, is highly regarded at Sunderland.
“This is a great experience for Ollie, and we want to thank Kilmarnock for recognizing his progress, especially after last season’s success,” Murty said.
“We hope he goes up there and makes the most of this opportunity, which is a great step for his career.”
