JUST NOW: Romano hand Leeds United vital transfer update following Marc Roca, Liam Cooper, lan Poveda as Fresh name emerge to be part of Possible Ellad Road exist after club confirm behind the scene agreement has being sealed.

Leeds United has had a busy transfer window this summer, with several players departing the club:

Six players have been sold permanently, including Archie Gray to Tottenham for £40 million and Glen Kamara to Rennes. Kris Klaesson, Diego Llorente, Marc Roca, and Charlie Cresswell have also been transferred.

Four players have left on loan: Jack Harrison, Sonny Perkins, Sam Greenwood, and Darko Gyabi.

Several players’ contracts have expired, including Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, and Cody Drameh.

Regarding the loan players from last season, Leeds has resolved the situation for six out of eight. Max Wober and Rasmus Kristensen are currently with their national teams at Euro 2024.

Rasmus Kristensen is reportedly close to joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is “imminent” and includes a £15 million buy option. Kristensen will undergo a medical examination soon.

This move comes after Kristensen declined an offer from his former club FC Midtjylland, feeling it was too early in his career to return there. At Frankfurt, he will reunite with former Leeds teammate Robin Koch.

The transfer activity at Leeds demonstrates the club’s efforts to reshape its squad following recent disappointing seasons.
