REPORT: Summerville Transfer HEAT up as Player’s future in doubt with additional two names in possible Elland Road Exit after last Season Leeds United Top Flight promotion disappointment.
Leeds United is bracing for a difficult summer transfer window after failing to gain promotion to the Premier League. Their star player, Crysencio Summerville, is likely to attract significant interest from Premier League clubs after an outstanding season where he scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in the Championship. Multiple top clubs like Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Brighton are linked with pursuing the 22-year-old Dutch winger.
In addition to Summerville, Leeds is expected to lose other key players as well. Jack Harrison seems certain to go out on loan again, with Everton interested in securing his services temporarily once more by activating a clause in his contract. Despite having four years left on his Leeds deal, Harrison is likely to depart after spending the last season on loan at Everton.
Another player who could leave Leeds on loan is Marc Roca. After joining from Bayern Munich last summer, Roca went out on loan to Real Betis this season. Betis are now keen to extend his loan for another year rather than buy him permanently due to their limited funds. Like Harrison, a loan clause allows Leeds to send Roca out temporarily again without receiving a transfer fee.
With narrowly missing out on Premier League promotion, Leeds now faces the challenge of generating funds through player sales while also trying to keep their core squad intact for another push next season in the Championship.
