“Uncertain Future” Sources reveal names of Nottingham Forest Players likely to move OUT of City Ground this summer Window as Nuno aim for Fresh legs.

As the 2023/24 season comes to a close, Nottingham Forest has begun preparations for the upcoming campaign, though significant work lies ahead.

The club recently unveiled their list of retained players, revealing that six senior members will depart upon the expiration of their contracts at the end of June. Wayne Hennessey, Felipe, Cheikhou Kouyate, Scott McKenna, Loic Mbe Soh, and Harry Arter will exit as free agents.

Meanwhile, defenders Willy Boly and Ola Aina, initially set to become free agents this summer, have opted to extend their stays. Boly has signed a new contract, while Aina’s tenure has been extended.

The forthcoming weeks will demand crucial decisions as Forest endeavors to strengthen their squad for next season, mindful of both head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s preference for a streamlined roster and the financial constraints to avoid breaching the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

The upcoming PSR evaluation, encompassing the past three years until June 30, effectively creates a limited transfer window. Clubs like Forest, aiming to balance their financial books, must contemplate potential early player sales.

Among the players facing uncertain futures at the City Ground is Murillo, whose breakout season has attracted interest from prominent clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Morgan Gibbs-White, another standout performer, has also garnered attention, particularly from Tottenham Hotspur. Finally, Odysseas Vlachodimos’s future as Forest’s goalkeeper remains in question amid reports of him seeking a move due to limited playing time.
