SHOCKING: Crystal Palace sudden Transfer U- Turn on 26yr Old attacker with 79 appearance and 20 Goals scored emerges as Selhurst Park journey seem to come to an End after Glasner reveal Player is Out of next Season plan.

Crystal Palace is weighing up the possibility of selling French striker Odsonne Edouard during the upcoming summer transfer window. The objective behind a potential sale is to raise funds that would enable the club to reinforce the squad and mount a push for a top-half finish in the Premier League next season.

Despite Edouard’s impressive track record at Celtic, where he made 179 appearances and won 11 trophies, his time at Palace has been less prolific. Over the course of two seasons, the Frenchman has made 101 appearances but has only managed to score 21 goals.

With Jean-Philippe Mateta flourishing under the guidance of new manager Oliver Glasner and cementing his place as the first-choice striker, Edouard’s game time has become limited. A sale could potentially fetch around £20 million, which Palace could reinvest in acquiring a new striker better suited to Glasner’s system.

Palace’s strong finish to the previous campaign, winning six of their last seven matches, has fueled ambitions within the club to challenge the Premier League’s established powers. This mirrors the recent ascent of Brighton under Graham Potter and Roberto de Zerbi.

Glasner, who aims to replicate his success at Eintracht Frankfurt by instilling a more ambitious mentality at Palace, is keen to elevate the club from mere Premier League participants to potential European contenders by implementing an attractive and progressive style of play.

The potential sale of Edouard appears to be a calculated move aimed at generating funds to reinforce the squad and support Glasner’s vision of transforming Palace into a side capable of competing at a higher level domestically and in continental competitions.
