This new feature targets sports fans in areas such as the Bay Area, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., with access depending on the viewer’s location.
This change reflects the growing demand for streaming sports content and is part of Peacock’s broader strategy to compete with other digital platforms in the live sports space. With this rollout, users can now catch their favorite local NBA, NHL, and MLB teams live through the same app they already use for movies, shows, and national sports programming.
