REPORT: Farke explain  Jawdropping match day decision that might see Bamford starting ahead of Mateo Joseph as Daniel Farke reveal a masterplan approach that will SHOCK Burnley

REPORT: Jawdropping match day decision that might see Bamford starting ahead of Mateo Joseph as Daniel Farke planning for a masterplan approach against Burnley.

The online publication reported the update early on Saturday (14 September), just ahead of Leeds United’s match against Burnley at Elland Road. Patrick Bamford has not featured for Leeds or been part of a matchday squad since their 0-0 draw with West Brom on 17 August.

Max Wober is also expected to be included in the squad, despite returning from international duty with a minor knee injury.

**Patrick Bamford has a point to prove at Leeds United**
The fanbase remains divided on Bamford’s future at Elland Road, and it’s up to the striker to prove himself. His main focus will be overcoming his injury troubles and making an impact when the opportunity arises.

So far, Daniel Farke has preferred Mateo Joseph in the forward position, while other players in Leeds’ talented squad can also step in up front.

Bamford’s absence hasn’t been deeply felt, with Leeds winning 2-0 against both Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City in their last two matches. The English striker missed those games while recovering from a minor hamstring issue but is now set to be available for selection against Burnley.

It’s likely that Farke will name Bamford on the bench, but if Leeds needs a goal in the second half, he could make an appearance. Should Bamford impress as a substitute, he might be in contention to start in Leeds’ upcoming match against Cardiff City next weekend.
