OH NO: Deadline decision as Sunderland male final Transfer decision of loaning OUT 21yr Old first team player who has unreal connection with Bellingham and Clarke.
Sunderland centre-back Timothée Pembélé (21) has joined Ligue 1 club Le Havre on a season-long loan, as announced by both clubs. Pembélé, who joined Sunderland AFC from Paris Saint-Germain last year, has only made eight senior appearances since his move to the Stadium of Light. Despite this, he remains under contract with the Black Cats until 2028.
The 21-year-old has played a total of 37 games in Ligue 1, including a loan spell at Bordeaux, where he made 28 appearances, scored three goals, and provided one assist from the right-back position. Sunderland Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman stated, “While Timothée hasn’t yet broken into the first team, he is now fully fit and has been training consistently. The next step for him is to gain regular playing time in a competitive senior environment, and we believe this loan move will help him achieve that before he returns to Sunderland next summer.”
