“Goodbye lad” seems to be FRUITFUL Transfer Window few days to Deadline as Leeds United Complete Second signing beside Ramazani after Headcoach BID complete Striker farewell for Elland Road trip.

La Liga 2 club Almeria has sent a heartfelt message to Largie Ramazani after his £10 million transfer to Leeds United, assuring him that he will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Daniel Farke was eager to secure a replacement for Georginio Rutter before Friday night’s match against Sheffield Wednesday, following Rutter’s departure after the play-off final. Ramazani, who came through Manchester United’s academy before leaving for Spain four years ago, has since developed his game with Almeria.

The 23-year-old experienced a challenging first full season in La Liga, where he scored three goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances, though his efforts couldn’t prevent Almeria’s relegation from the top flight.

Ramazani started this season on a high note by scoring in Almeria’s 2-2 draw with Racing Santander, but he has now taken on a new challenge in the Championship. Despite his departure, it is clear that Almeria holds him in high esteem.

In a message shared on X after his move was confirmed, Almeria wrote: “Largie Ramazani, there will always be a place in our hearts for the joy, passion, and commitment you have shown while wearing our colors over the last four years. We wish you the best of luck for the next stage in your career.”

While Ramazani may not be a direct replacement for Rutter, he adds to Farke’s attacking options. Speaking about transfers on Wednesday, Farke said: “We are in a rebuilding phase right now, but I trust our owners and board to make the right decisions.

“I’m optimistic and confident, but it’s time to take action. We have a very young squad, one of the smallest in the league, with 19 first-team players, some of whom have limited experience. You can’t expect young players to perform consistently at a high level.

“Archie Gray did that last year, but he’s a once-in-30-years talent. We have a young team, but I’m grateful for the experienced players like Bamford and Rothwell. We need quality, personality, and experience.”
