Now Sealed: Medicals underway as Sources confirm new Top player will soon be unveiled at Ibrox.
Rangers are reportedly close to signing Robin Propper, adding experience to their squad following Connor Goldson’s departure to Aris Limassol on July 30.
The Scottish club has been active in the transfer market, focusing on future prospects like Connor Barron, who was brought in to replace veterans John Lundstram and Ryan Jack.
Goldson, a long-serving player and defensive mainstay, left a gap in experience that manager Philippe Clement needed to fill. Propper seems to fit the bill, bringing extensive experience from his career in the Eredivisie, including the last three seasons with FC Twente.
Last season, Propper featured in 40 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals. While primarily a center-back, he can also play as a defensive midfielder when needed.
This acquisition aligns with Rangers’ strategy of balancing youth and experience in their squad rebuild.
