REPORT: Roma dream of completing Elland Roads Trio deal on as italian side OWNER now ready to splash HUGE amount of Euros to sign Elland Roads fans favorite in the space of 12 months.
Leeds United and AS Roma have been involved in several player transactions over the past year. In the summer of 2023, Roma acquired Rasmus Kristensen on loan and extended Diego Llorente’s loan for another season. Llorente had initially joined Roma in January 2023 and helped the team reach the Europa League final.
This summer, both Kristensen and Llorente have moved to new clubs. Kristensen has joined Eintracht Frankfurt, while Llorente is now with Real Betis, alongside Marc Roca.
Roma, now managed by Daniele De Rossi following Jose Mourinho’s departure to Fenerbahce, may be looking to sign a third Leeds player in 12 months. According to reports, they have expressed interest in Crysencio Summerville, who is also attracting attention from West Ham United and potentially Manchester United.
Summerville, who has been with Leeds for four years, is considering his future at the club. His representatives are reportedly keen to arrange a deal that benefits Leeds financially, showing gratitude for the opportunity the club provided him at age 18.
While there’s an understanding that Summerville will likely leave Leeds in the coming weeks, his agents are working to secure a transfer that meets Leeds’ £40 million valuation. West Ham is aware that signing Summerville would be costly, but negotiations are ongoing.
