BOMBSHELL: Nottingham Forest finally complete first summer SIGNING of 22yr Old Talent as Nuno plans to reunite Club with long forgotten GEM.
Nottingham Forest has made their first summer signing, acquiring Marko Stamenic from Red Star Belgrade. The midfielder has signed a five-year contract but will spend the first year on loan at Olympiacos in Greece. Despite interest from Coventry City, Stamenic chose Forest, securing European football for next season. The 22-year-old made 35 appearances last season, including a Champions League match against Manchester City.
In other transfer news, Alexis Sanchez, who is leaving Inter Milan as a free agent, is in talks with Udinese for a potential return. The 35-year-old previously played for Udinese from 2008 to 2011, scoring 21 goals in 112 appearances before moving to Barcelona.
Leeds United is interested in retaining Joe Rodon, who spent the 2023-24 season on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. However, with Rodon having only 12 months left on his Spurs contract, he is expected to join a Premier League club instead. Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton, all newly promoted to the top flight, have shown interest in the Welsh defender. Tottenham is reportedly asking for around £10 million, though it’s uncertain if any of the interested clubs will meet this price.
