GOOD NEWS: Nottingham Forest to Land Striker with 37 Goal scored that will heal Che Adam snub to be at City Ground Next Season…… Striker has more Potential than Che adams.
Nottingham Forest seem interested in bringing in a new striker this summer transfer window. They have been linked with a potential free transfer move for former Southampton player Che Adams. However, another English striker who has hit the market is Tammy Abraham from AS Roma. Roma are reportedly willing to sell the 26-year-old for less than £30 million after an injury-plagued season.
Several Premier League clubs like Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham have expressed interest in Abraham. This could be an opportunity Forest should consider as well. While Adams had a good season in the Championship, Abraham has proven himself in the higher quality Serie A previously, scoring 17 goals in his first Roma season in 2021/22.
His former manager Jose Mourinho praised Abraham’s abilities, though he felt the striker could give even more. Abraham’s injury issues are a concern, but he potentially offers more upside than Adams if he can stay fit. His transfer could be a risk, but one worth taking for Forest.
In other news, Forest are working on increasing the City Ground’s capacity to over 30,000 for next season. This involves relocating the big screen to add more seating and using shipping containers for new hospitality suites, inspired by Stadium 974 from the Qatar World Cup.
While stadium upgrades are ongoing, Forest also need to rebuild their squad after narrowly avoiding relegation last season. In addition to a striker, they have been linked with a £27m move for Hoffenheim’s Maximilian Beier as they aim to steer clear of another relegation battle.
