JUST IN: Chelsea fans in HIGH cheer after sources reveal Blockbusting news claiming “personal agreement” reached over Crystal Palace Star mans permanent move to Stamford Bridge…… Will Crystal Palace actually let him go for such amount?
Reports indicate that Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise has reached an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea. The 22-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 19 Premier League matches for Palace during the 2023-24 season, had attracted interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
According to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Newcastle’s pursuit of the £60 million-rated player has been hindered by financial constraints. Olise had previously intended to join Chelsea last summer, but the transfer fell through at the time.
Now, Olise has reportedly recommitted to Chelsea. Recent updates suggest that the Blues are in discussions with Crystal Palace regarding the structuring of payments for Olise’s release clause, which is believed to exceed £60 million.
Olise’s potential move to Chelsea may be of interest to Manchester United, who were also keen on securing his services last summer, considering his history with Chelsea’s academy, where he spent seven years before spells at Manchester City and Reading.
Despite the likelihood of missing out on Olise, Newcastle continues its search for a right winger. West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen is another target on their radar, although his price tag may prove prohibitive.
Newcastle is also considering 19-year-old Yankuba Minteh, following his successful loan spell at Feyenoord, where he scored 11 goals. Minteh is valued at £40 million by Newcastle as they deliberate on his future this summer.
